My coffee-table-guide-to-wwii-aircraft states the Typhoon 1A and 1B are both slower than the P51D at all altitudes.

According to Brandfords Book of Warplanes by K. Munson.


Typhoons top speed is attained at 10K  409m/h
anything lower or higher should mean a drop in speed....
