So now what I need is suggestions for a new system that will play AH2 with no problem. The rest of my CPU tasks are simple by comparison.  Hope to see ya all in the skies real soon-

Heres a great system and very cost effective...

$ 109.00  ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Mainboard (socket A)
$   88.00  AMD XP 2500+ Mobile CPU ( This cpu is unlocked and   you will see 2.5 Gig no problem..
$  90.00  512 DDR 400 Ram

You can run IDE or SATA on this also you can do Raid..
The Onboard sound is Killer and you get 2 RJ-45 ports
The chipset is nvidia nforce2

Its a great combo.....

I'm with Kamori on this one. Diffrent MB but almost same price and great onboard sound, and went with the 2400 Mobile just because it is proven to overclock and $10 cheaper so I didn't argue about a few percentage of performance.

And shop Newegg. The only way to go.
