Never lock the door when we're home, of course we lock it when we're gone. I still have a milkman who opens the door and leaves the milk inside.

Wow interesting Yeager! The crime in California tops Canada's crime. Was this just an interesting fact you thought you'd point out or do you care to add some relevance to it?

I live in a city of a million. Slo lives in a city of 3 million plus. Xtoronto's city is bigger. We shared (as asked) what it's like for us.

How big is your city and do you lock your doors? Answer that one and congrats... you may just be venturing back on topic.

Dixon has a population of 16,000.

Vancouver has a population of approximatley 2 million.

Vancouver has well in excess of 20 times the population of Dixon.

That per capita figure is totally skewed lazs.  It is meaningless.

huh?  can't follow you curval unless you are saying that small cities have less per capita crime than big ones or.. large population density areas have more per capita crime than low density ones.

If so.. we agree.   The more people canada gets the worse it's crime problem... the more immigration the worse it gets..  the bigger the drug use the worse it gets.

Come to Detroit and say that, They'll carjack you just for chit's n giggles.

Also, in 2002, 1,246,096 cars were stolen in the US.  I doubt a Canadian city leads the world.

Again, that's just what I heard. If I get a free sec at work I'll see what google comes up with.
