Gents,

The next Friday Squad Operations is in the works. Dux is hammering out the Slot terrain which will be sent to HTC for the final build. If things go as planned we will start up Friday the 16th of this month.

The event will be posted for viewing in a day or two on the Squad Ops site, and I will post the link here when it is done. Remember if you were Allied last time around it is likely you will be Axis this time, but it never hurts to ask.

You will request your side and state your squad numbers on the Squad Ops site as usual, (when I have it posted).

Here is the basic plan set. Task Groups are not assigned yet because I am not sure what Task Groups we will have in the new terrain.

Approximately 60% IJN and 40 % American

Allied Aircraft
F4F
F4U-1
P-40E
SBD
TBM

Active Fields
A1, A5, A35, A41, P31
Basically anything east of A5 would be American (except A37 on the SE tip of Santa Isabel island)

Japanese Aircraft
A6M5
Ki61
Ki67
Kate (2 lives)
Val (2 lives)

Active Fields
A37, A40, A9, A12, A30, A16

Nightmares VMF-101 are in .. will look to get you a committment level and side preference by thursday.

Have to go rally the troops and friends and see how many I can turnout.

Then just use the link on the left of that page (for those that forgot) Request side for current Friday SO series to let us know:
1. What side you want
2. How many you expect to show up
That shoots the Admin CM's the info they need to know.

This Thursday will work. I will divide up the Squads Friday the 9th and send out orders Saturday to the Frame C.O.'s that are working the 16th.

I am getting a feel from my squad on who all is still flying AH2 and who wants to fly FSO's

will set out NEW Squad size in afew days.

I have only heard from about 1/3 of the squads. Kinda scratching my head about that. I will have to assume they are still active. Sure hope they are because that would really foul things up for the rest of us if a squad or two does not show up.

USMC will be ready, we are checking on squad size right now. We should know for sure sometime later today I hope.

Excellent Tracer. Let me know ASAP. I am working on the squad division now. Those who I have not heard from (about 1/2 our squads) will get to be Axis since just about everyone I have heard from wants to be Allied.
