Other than new maps, what's better about it? (Granted, the same old island map got old kinda fast, but is there anything else to it?)

Not really. If you are happy with the one map and online play only, there isn't a big dif. FPS is a tad better, maps and missions are nice.

for me the demo was pretty near the unplayable side in Frame rates..

but I had heard that the Retail version was actually better from Octavious so I purchased it and it was better and made the game more enjoyable because of that.

having more maps and playing co-op is nice as well.

Thanks for hosting the game today. Kaboom and I had a good time. I have to say tho, I have never played Co-op before so it was a little differint for me. Normaly, the only help I get online is from Kaboom. It was pretty cool having 6 guys that Wanted to work together on my side. As much as I enjoy the game and see the potential in it, The game only really shines when a group of people work together to secure the objectives. With that said, I have a dedicated teamspeak server up and running that was used for my Call of Duty clan. The Clan is now defunct, but the TS server is still running. If you all want to get together sometime we can use TS for Voice comms. Let me know if that sounds like a good plan to you all.

Joint ops is just an amazing game. I'm always a combat transporter usually flying the Little Bird with benches on the side ala Black Hawk Down. It's so awesome when you get 4 guys sitting on the benches to your left and right giving cover fire as you fly behind enemy territory at 100ft. The scenery is amazing and the water effects are unreal. Go underwater and look up or towards land, it looks just like real life.

If anyone wants to start a squad let me know, I'm game.

I saw a improvement in performance in the full version vs the demo... other than that you get accesss to all the maps (plenty of maps) and more online servers that you can play on...

Everyone thinking about buying this game really should try the demo.. Basically thats what you get with extras...

Fist Co-op for me too, sorry that i missed you guys.. a friend came over and he wouldnt leave no matter what...

Co-op was fun, but if we get around 10 plrs (we were 8 at one time yesterday not counting you two) then maybe we should try some deathmatch and king of the hill as well?

Perhaps if we play on the same server in the beggining then a spinnoff would be to start a squad and then kick some arse on other servers as a team/squad.

I will host today again... i hope theres wasnt that much lag and stuff...

I got home about 7:30 P.M. EST and found the map.Was just logging in when it went poof.

Ya, im sorry for that, i intended to leave the computer running when i went to bed bud the thing locked up when i alt + tab out to read my mail...

Was to tired to fire the comp up agian and set everything up...
