....maybe the Bishops and Knights will eat lots of turkey and become torpid this evening.  It would give us Rooks a chance to catch up on lost ground  .

Torque - I'm west of Ottawa in the only town
in Canada named after a Mexican general - Almonte (pronounced "Almont" around here).
No one knows why, as he never came near the place. That's a few miles from Carleton Place, where Roy Brown (of 'Red Baron' fame) was from, and our mosted noted Almonte citizen was Dr.James Naismith (invented basketball). Bet ya that's more than you really wanted to know  . Nice to meet a fellow Canuk in AcesHigh <S>.
