VR4 here also.  When I last glanced at speed, I was 128, and I pushed it a bit further, but was having a hard time keeping it in one lane at that point.  Oddly 120 WAS smooth in that car.  But 130ish was all over the road.  God bless demo rides at dealerships.

Once on the back of a yamaha FZR motorcycle my buddy was driving at 110mph ish I learned a valuable lesson: Do NOT sit straight up.  The wind caught me and I was airborn for a moment.  I JUST barely was able to grab my friends jacket and stay on.  Almost pulled us both off the bike.  Heh. Lute was durn near a skid mark (smear) on that one.  Still can vividly remember that split second of being airborn.  Durn near pissed myself.

Around 140 on a Suzuki GS1100. It still had more but started to speed wobble.

Been around 140 several times in cars.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Both were back when I was a lot younger and dumber.

I've had my 'vette over 130.  Still felt like it had plenty more but I was on the way to a meeting and at a 120mph clip was goin fast enough to get there on time.  Snapped a picture of my speedo at 124.  Was fun, drivin over 120 mph and taking pictures.  :)

146 mph (235 km/h) in a Peugeot 406 3L V6 on the tachometer.

It must have been around 130 mph real groundspeed.

Even on a deserted highway around 3am, it wasn't particularly bright...

86 Mustang GT about 145mph
stayed pretty much side by side with my friends 89 mustang.
Seen a trooper on the other side of the hiway.  There was 2 solid miles of gardrailed median :)  Turned and lined them up at the next guardrail break, and saw the trooper on the opposite side of the hiway again LOL.
