HT/Pyro, Or Scuzzy. BB FYI alert
« on: July 06, 2004, 02:22:08 PM »
In the last two days I noticed while posting to the BB It didn't require a login. I hit reply and it went straight for it, with no password request. This happened after I rebooted the PC as well.

I just thought you might want to know and maybe look into it. OR it could be a false alarm and I missed something. All I know is twice this week it slammed me right into posting with no login required.

It's yer cookies, Anim.  :)

I only ever have to sign in on a Friday after my Anti-Virus program runs its weekly clean-up.  LOL, first time it happened I nearly freaked out - I couldn't see the CM Forums any more and thought I'd been chucked out of the CM Team!  :lol  :o

In the upper right area of the main bulletin board if it says, "Welcome back Username", where "Username" is replaced with your BB ID< then you were automatically logged in by the browser you are using.
This simply means that you login and password are being stored by the browser and it automatically sends that information when you connect to the BB.
You can turn this off in IE under the security settings under "Internet Options".
