Doolitle

There are at least a couple of others who hold the Tuskegee airmen in high regard.

I was one of the original founders of 332nd Black Aces squadron that flew in Warbirds. ( dead now, everyone drifted away)

The 332nd Flying Mongrels is loosely based on the same principles. Out of respect they have not used the tuskegee name.

That squadron has spawned 2 others who carry on the 332nd tradition.

332nd Vikingings (Euro branch/sister squad)

332nd Wolfhounds (new, daytime MA group)

The Black Aces, & the Flying Mongrels have always both had a big thing about discrimination. From any source, aimed at any person.

Its a big part of what has made me who I am.  Like the tuskegee airmen we do not believe in belitleing people for any reason.  Give every one who wants it a fair fighting chance.  Former & current members are to be found throughout AH & other sims. Quietly trying to make a difference.

to all current & former members of

332nd Black Aces
332nd Flying Mongrels
332nd Vikings
332nd Wolfhounds

Well Doolitle not a bad opening line, shows you have had some pratice with [ i am a victim syndrome.] Just enough sarcasm to let everyone know you think you know the reason without going over the line.I dont know what colour you are,how long your hair is,what car you drive or if you use the restroom in the morning or evening and whats more I dont give a darn. The answer to your question is so simple I hardly believe you missed it.Not all but the great majority of those that fashion their squads after historical ones is because their father or uncle or grand pa or great grand pa or some realtive was a member of that unit during ww 2. I am proud to say that a fine young mans [a member of the 31st ]grand father flew for the tuskeegee air unit.[ I wonder] why he didnt start a squad [as you say]. I suspect his experiance is similar to mine i wasnt on a week before i was invited to join the 31st and a couple other squads, i could hardly fly yet.
So please take your racist innuendo and thoughts else where as the great majority of us in here will not tolerate them.

Do you get some kind of satisfaction from writing long, elaborate replies to practical non-issues?  Its getting kind of pathetic.

And don't forget Doolittle, when in a verbal arguement toss around "My Dads bigger than your Dad". If you say it with authority you might be able to get the more infamous "I am rubber you are glue..." quote  too. That one is sure to impress. :aok
