HTC and Crew. Hats off

I finally got to fly Ah2 last night. On a PII 450, playable.

If you EVER quit working on this game I will send 20 donkeys to find you and rape you silly.

The game is smoking. You guys are doing good work here.

I love the FM, it's not nowhere near as hard as some say. In fact, it sorta felt easier to me. And I flew with a  mouse last night out of laziness. Had NO problems.

The gunnery,  I don't know what the beef is, I hit everything I fired at The only real difference I saw was that you just have to be as close to your target as in RL. within a few hundred yards.

At the risk of sounding redundant, great job.

WOW Thats cool Anim...
WTG HTC
As for the gunnery. Im really glad that you wont have to struggle thru this aspect of the game. :)
PS i have read reports of guys saying that their Gunnery is the same and that they have no problem with it in AH2.
I also have checked their Hit % to date.
Unfortunately is some contradiction. :(
Soon we will all get better or just accept the fact that we aren’t going to. Either way it will feel better with time.

I agree AH2 is moving right along. WTG HT.

It's strange how so many people whine about how they can't hit anything in AH2, yet I've actually improved.

I guess the more realistic a game gets, the better I become. And please HTC, don't stop working on this... We still need the MiG-3!!

Fruda how long have you been playing ?
(just seeing if how long youve played AH effects your learning ratio)
I think alot of guys, including myself are having problems with gunnery because we are slow learners. I spent years in AH1 trying to perfect my gunnery. Then when AH2 rolled around I had to relearn. O well, its still fun, gives me something new to master.

Don't forget, before the first few patches the gunnery wasn't calculating properly. The guns themselves seem the same to me. Shooting while manuevering is much different.

True...but it has been for the last 2 weeks at least.
d be willing to make a wadger. We will watch it for the next 3 campaings and  compare it to Ah1s last 3 Camps to the last 3 camps in AH2.....The stats will be kept starting next Camp.
I will post the result here. Hit% overall average across the board will be lower. prolly by about 0.5 % or more

Just an experiment...thats all.

Mugz, I think the gunnery will be lower even still and by a LOT more than .5%. People will always fire while manuevering, and that's what's causing my gunnery to drop. It's picking back up slowly, and I am seeing some surprising hits, so eventually I expect it to pick back up.

I can't speak for the crowd, though, and I expect overall gunnery results will be significantly lower. It's summertime (spray-and-pray season). :D
