I have two units, one on a small frame revolver and one on a small auto (PPK-S).

They work great and very bright, due to the offset from the bore I set them to be on target at 20 ft. I dont think it's a problem for short ranges but for longer ranges the points diverge.

I have a laser (not C.T.) in my Sig P220 that takes the place of the recoil spring guide and as it is in line with the bore (just a bit lower) it works over a greater range.

Oh buy the way, cats love chaseing the red dot around  :)

PS
I like the fact that I can fire at a target without looking like I'm aiming, in some situations hitting a 10 ring with the weapon in your lap could come in handy.

ya i dotn intend on shooting either of theses over 15-20 feet..if that..

I really liek the way the way the recoil guide lazers look...seems to be in an area of Hi heat and shock..I take it you have used this one..and have had no problems,,,,?

do you have to have a gunsmith install  your Crimsons...seems to be as easy as putting new grips on...

thnks for input

Green

Yep just as easy, they come with the worlds smallest allen wrench for adjusting the laser DONT LOOSE IT it is the size of a needle.

I have shot thousands of rounds with nary a problem with any of them. You will get a ton of life out of the batterys, after the newness wears off and ya quit playing with them lol.

5 or 6 hours run time and thats only when you touch the switch (they come with a on off switch for times you dont want them on)

Get the rubber covered grips for your auto is you can they feel nicer then the hard plastic.
