I should join a squad - Offers Welcome.
« on: November 25, 2000, 04:23:00 PM »
Hi you all gents.

Today is one month I have been playing regularily AH, since I signed on 25.10.
I like the game and I plan stay for a while.
maybe a long long while (if no other emergency occur...) looking forward the new improvements promissed by Pyro.
Till now I have been playing "lone wolf" in the three countries, but I think I would like to try the experience of joining a team as I have seen, it is an important feature of the game and improve fun and friendship.

But, as I have also a real life, a very busy one, with wife and childrem incluided   I can not join a high demanding squad, just one to have freely fun, not more stress...ya know.

So, as I have run across the pages of a lot of squads of AH and I couldn't decide if they offer what I'm looking for I reverse the process and publish my aplication here if there is one with an open slot for me.
These are my "requirements":
1. Will join an European Squad, in order to find them during "civilized" hours, say 1900 to 2200 GMT range or little wider on W.E.

2. Better, but not only, an english speaking squad. Just a way to improve mine.

3. Not being forced to fly EVERY W.E. or SE under penalty of being banned or expulsed

4. Freely fly any plane, in MA. Agreeing, of course, to accept the orders to take the squad plane for a SE or special squad mission on MA.

5. I'm fund of any WWII plane, but I have preferences:

First - Luftwaffe Irons.
Second - Japan birds and F4U, Thypoon.
Third - Yak, P47, Spit : this order.
I specially HATE P51, don't know why, it is a nice plane thoug.

5. I play for fun. Leave the problems out. If "killing" me make somebody's day, then better for him, I have contributed to his happiness. If I "kill" somebody (what sheldoms happen) and he gets angry, excuse me, I didn't shoot to a person, just a virtual plane.

That's all, as said, offers welcome
Thanks.

Edan,

I'm very happy to hear you enjoy Aces High.

If your looking for a squad that will fly all the WWII aircraft...and, a squad that flies for fun, take time to check out the 332nd Flying Mongrels.

Our number 1 mission is to have fun.

Thanks Ozark & Camel

I have taken a look on 332nd page and liked it. It seems the "motto" of the squad is fair, nice and fits what I'm looking for.
The only problem may be you ara an american squad and the 6 hours diference with Spain may hamper the times I can wing up with you.
The 1 PM snapshots will be at, let me see....19 PM my time, on saturdays, this may be good many Saturdays. The others I don't think.

Anyway, this may be a good choice to consider if no european squad fits better.
Will let ya know

Hola Edan.

RAM

Thanks RAM
I'll try to contact StSanta, I have read many post of him in the BBS and a lot of
"Victory X by StSanta from 9/54 Gruenherz"
in the MA
The fact they fly my favs plane sounds nice, will see the rest.
Also so a controversial post about your departure from the game. Take it easy boy.
This is only a game. You will be flying again in other sim or here someday, i see this from your temperament.
Thanks again.

RAM please translate this!

Is the 9/JG54. Talk with santa in the main arena, he is a sissy, wears an awful pink dress and has no idea on how to fly a piper cub,let alone a 109. So any help that you can give to him will be welcome. Maik, Kirin, Habicht and NathBDP can't support him any longer...

Just kidding   . I told him to contact 9/Jg54 as they fly german iron most of the time and are a great bunch of guys...including Stsanta

Edan...  . Te veo luego
