poll shows Bush ahead tho still. Last poll I seen said that 57% of the people thought we were right to oust the sadman.

if the economy gets even better (probly will) then Bush will easily win... If it stays the same...it will be close.

Watch the dems to get even more vitriholic as the election draws near. Hardest thing to do will be to get kerry to shut up about his really liberal ideas. He could be mondale all over again if the cat gets out of the bag.

Know that once a nation HAS WMD's they will ALWAYS have them. Iraq HAD chemical and biological weapons. Thats a fact. Ask the Kurds.

Study the Cold War. One of the major deterrents of the era was not that both sides would blast each other to pieces... but that even IF one side blasted the other before the other could react, the blasted side STILL had the capability to REARM and LAUNCH (underground missile and nuke building facilities could put together several dozen missiles+warheads in a matter of days and retaliate).

You dont need to have physical stockpiles of a WMD. Its the knowledge and facilities to make them.. the capability to make them that makes it dangerous.

And unlike nukes, bio/chem WMD's can be assembled in the 'target' country with far fewer risks of detection. Its easier to smuggle a small bag with ebola than a few punds of plutonium. If drug dealers get TONS of cocaine through into the US just think how easy it would be to smuggle biochem components.

Taking out this capability from the hands of Saddam and from a potentially hostile Arab nation is RIGHT in my book.

and I seem to remember then finding HUGE ammounts of some "main ingrediants" for chem weapons at artillery sites at the beginning of the war. But since it can be used to kill roaches people would rather believe that the Iraqi's just didn't want bugs near thier artillery. Not to mention the couple of dozen shells found (and a few used) that contained actual chemical weapons.

There are no WMD in Iraq....

THere are no Americans in Bagdad....

Those 2 statements are remarkably similar. One from "Bagdad Bob" the other from the Bush haters.....

Well ... when Tenet went away, i did say, that we will hear a lot of bad things about him soon .... here we go.... Its all CIA fault... but former director is gone. But we all should know who is responsible.
poor president and senate are only missinformed vicims whitch do not hold responsibility for their acts

Im wondering if there will be any consequences based on that report.

Here's my spin...

I don't care about WMDs anymore.

This was 1 count em 1 of 4 reasons we went into Iraq.

Reread the presidents speech.

Now, people a normally quite dumb. If Bush got up there and explained all the geo-political reasons he wanted to do Iraq, most Americans would get confused and switch to "Wheel of Fortune".

The reason we went to Iraq, more than any other, is to put the Middle East on Notice.

We are showing the nations of Syria, Libya, Iran and others that Democracy can work.

Don't you think in 5 years when Iraq is THE center of free thought and speech in the Middle East, College Kids in Iran are going to be saying, "Hey, look at Iraq." Why can't we be free?"

Instead of bombing the US, they'll revolt against the Mullahs.

This is the way we are going to fight terrorism.

Iraq was chosen because we had an excuse, we had Air Superiority, and we knew it would be an easier fight than Iran or Syria. Plus, it does'nt hurt that SH was as bad as Hitler.

Also, our going into Iraq shows the rest of the ME that we are not the America of Vietnam or Somalia, that cuts and runs before the job is done, no matter what the polls say.

We're not afraid to get bloody and Iran, Syria and the others know that now.

Think about it, guys.

We only liberated the country 14 months ago!

As for teh students, Yes, I would say Terrorist organizations recruit people of that age group.

Whether or not they are students or Iranian, I have no idea but we do know a good number of people crossing into Iraq to fight are Iranian.
