What happens to release of TE........

Form what I unerstand about month ago you were talking about two weeks........

There is no gameplay without historical terrains

  • I do not care of good graphics or other improvements if there no players to play
  • I do not care of MA gameplay - I want to see CT/SEA active
  • It is impossible run BoB, Eastern front, Midterrain or PTO at current map sets

    So WHEN............
    I'm not surprised to see people leaving....

BoB map just released. The Slot (Guadacanal) Map released and being used tonight for FSO.

We hope to get 2 maps a month converted while we don't have TE. So we are soldiering on over in the SEA.

2 maps per month is pretty quick. Someone would be lucky to put out a QUALITY map in 2 weeks using TE; unless they spent hours upon hours per day working on it. Dont get me wrong, I want the new TE as bad as the next guy.


I would say it took me over 10 hours just to lay out the tiles. I would say I spent atleast 20 hours in all to finish the map, and this one is 256x256. 512x512 could fit 4 of theses in it! Think of how long that would take.

It is just ridicules - build terrains in AHI TE then ask HTC to build them and then ............

Finaly CT and SEA is AH comunity area - give players they tool....
When you build terrain yourself you can debug it much easily......

Actually it will not take any problems to rebuild old good terrains to AH2 format - the FinRus, Libiya, Grease, Midterrain, Hungary, Ruhr and lots of others.....

Don't we need it?

Artik until the TE is coded .. its the only option we have to do it that way. Or basically wait with no maps until the TE comes out.

There should not be AH2 without AH2 TE.....

BoB map for SEA doen't really suits CT......
So for CT we have only Slot? So lets call it not combat theatre but PTO.........

Do HTC and others understand that there are lots of players flying AH just because of CT and SEA and not furball MA.....

I can tell you one thing for sure...NO ONE at HTC ever said "2 weeks" for the release of any product. When asked, the most they will say is that it will be released when it is finished.
