Fw190A-8, IV./JG3 is now finished and available at AH-skins.com.

There are some unfortunate and unexpected, inherent problems with the Fw190A-8. Anyone who had tried skinning the Fw190A-5 would know, but the basic texture layout of this plane is very dated, and different from the more recent ones.

The Fw190A-5 skin consists of 4 parts:

* 1 file for the fuselage
* 1 file for the wings
* 1 file for the spinner
* 1 file for the upper rudder

Also, the under part of the rudder derives its color from the color of the cowl area.

Now, I expected the Fw190A-8 to be the same, but unfortunately, it only has two files(fuselage, wings) for its textures, and the spinner and the rudder parts are "hard-wired" into the system, which uses the same textures as used in the default Fw190A-5.

This, unfortunately means the color of the rudders, and under part of the cowling, cannot be changed - you will see this problem with the uploaded Fw190A-8 with a black cowl, which shows yellow at its underpart.
