Yes, enemy GVs have always had a very short-range icon from aircraft, or none at all from another GV. Also now, of course, the enemy icons are below the GVs and therefore difficult to see....... so, if it doesn't have an obvious icon, it's an enemy.
Makes M3 runs with troops somewhat exciting seeing enemy aircraft pass right overhead, frequently without them noticing the GV below them.
