Keep 'em up!
Bishops ran a killer HQ raid on the rooks Wednesday night.  Swarms of Spits and Jugs and Lancs at medium altitude.
Last night Ripsnort put up a big old TBM and F4U raid on the Bish CV.
I love this stuff.  It's a like a scenario every night.

I love em too!  That's about 80% of the game IMO, teamwork!

Suggestion: If you have a mission up, ANNOUNCE IT IN CAPITAL LETTERS on your country channel...sure, caps are annoying, but it will get the attention of more folks that may join...

I also give a briefing of how to join a mission (for newbies) by capping "MAPROOM/VIEWER/(MISSION NAME)/ACCEPT A FLIGHT"..this helps those that don't know 'how' to join up.

Also, a bug surfaces from time to time when someone doesn't autolaunch, my suggestion is to STAY IN THE MAPROOM PRIOR TO THE LAST 2 MIN OF THE LAUNCH TIME.  This prevents any anomolies from occuring.

<S> to all that have participated in the past!

Last night was ASSASSINS squad night. We hooked up with cavey and some others and took 6 bishop airfields, and 1 vehicle field. For once the rooks were not in trouble.   Just goes to show that in Aces High the best defense is a good offense.

Err, wasn't 'for once', the other day Rooks held 60% of the territory, and whats odd is...the bish had most of their people attacking the Knights last night while you guys whooped them!  Wonder who was in charge over there?

The Buccaneers had squad nite Thursday as well. Ran F6F jabos to close Knight city, then mixed blue planes to wipe out Knight HQ using low alt (NOE) approach. Had to giggle as we flew in under some high interceptors looking for strato-bombers.   They finally saw us but too late, the deed was done.

LOL!  funked,...it may have appeared to be a huge swarm during the HQ raid on nitland, but it was just 2 lanc's with 2 fighter escort.  The rest were all nit.
RWY posted a story about it and did a fine job telling the tale.

I agree though.  The missions are almost always the best.  Hangtime, I know you put effort into those and I appreciate it.
I thoroughly enjoy organized attacks.  They are far more intense and the immersion level is incredible.

Skuzzy we must be talking about a different raid, because I bagged two Lancasters and saw at least two others.  There were about 15 enemy radar contacts in the area.  You bastiches have hammered our HQ so many times that it's becoming a blur.

Hehe, i was in that raid - man it was fun

I've taken the time to learn the mission editor and have planned and executed 2 missions to capture airfields, both of them outstanding successes. Its heaps of fun and i encourage everyone to try the mission editor.

Yesterday night was so fun for me...even when I could fly only a couple of sorties because my crappy connection, I had a blast!

I joined a mission to attack A19. We killed its acks and VH, and then the goon came in just in time (first time I've seen this in AH   ). Was perfectly planned mission (ripsnort planned it <S> ) with P38s P47s and C47.

some of us, the ones undamaged and with enuf fuel went to attack the enemy fleet. I was ina  P38 and was hitting myself 'cause I had put in the score choice menu that I wanted my mission scored as fighter (when I had 2x1000lbs and 10 rockets on board!!!).

Turned out that I got 4 bandits on the furball over the fleets! (hehehe fortunate error I did in the scores menu choice     ) That was a BLAST!!!

Then I joined other mission, but this one I crashed when trying to recover my P38 from compression, while I was doing the dive bombing. Nearly did it...but only "nearly"

Then I lost connection, and could not return for the rest of the night

Hey, dont shoot me! I'm on the light side!!

Me bad.  I know which raid you are talking about now.  I was in it too.  HT headed that one up and yep,...we had about 15 lancs in that raid.  Hangtime and I broke off the main body and hit the nit radar factories, so we missed the action over the HQ.

Talk about a sweet site though.  Never had so many lancs in the air at one time.
