just  a  idea  guys.each  tour  is four weeks  long  what  if  for  the  first  week  we  use  aircraft  circa  1940  2nd  week  up  to 1942  3rd  week  1944  and  last  week  any  aircraft.
I  hear  a  lot  of  moaning about la7  and  nikis  being  everywhere  so  why  not try somethng different.
ok so  most  planes  are  not  used   and youll have to learn to fly again  different ones.
Maybe  the  change  would  improve  the  flying  and  handleing     and  moaning

They tried  limiting the planeset in AWFR, the fallout wasn't pretty. It sounds good in theory, but alot of people ONLY fly one plane, have only ever flown one plane and would rather circumcise themselves with a wooden spoon as try another plane. Make no mistake, if something like this was implimented the pissing and moaning would be a deafening roar. If limited planesets was a popular idea to a significant portion of the community the CT wouldn't be the vacant lot it is.

It's a great idea though, will never happen, but a great idea nonetheless.

Is this a new record for a rolling plane set request?

Just so you don't get the wrong impression from this.....The CT, while it is obviously not for everyone, does have an entertaining and dedicated group of regulars.  Because its plane set rolls each week, you get the opportunity to experience a lot of different rides, as well as fly against planes you simply won't see in the MA.  Zazen is correct that the CT isn't for everyone, or even for most, but you might give it a try to see if it's for you.

I'd like to see rolling plane set at MA like it is in WB.

Last time I was flying WB most of players were at Historical arena with two sides and rolling planeset.... MA was empty.

I like it.

I wish to see time to time not only P-51D, La7 and 109g10 but also Spit I, 109E, F4F, A6M2, P-40B etc.....

EDIT:
Of cousre we need some more early planes for it:
I-16, Yak-1, Do-17, He-111 and lots of others

Never happen.

RPS has singlehanded created & caused more whining & dissention in the flight sim community that all other issues combined.

It was tried  (and failed) back in warbirds.

HT came up with a better answer, the perk system. Which actually works.

Everyone fly's what they want IF they can afford it.

Want more perks, fly a plane that will get them.  Which in 99% of all cases = slower/harder to fly/poorer guns.

Give it up, RPS is DEAD Thank GOD!

Dead, and may it roast.

Jet Sunday was a day not to bother flying.  The hoards of 262s didn't kill much other than themselves, but they did make it a pain to fly anything else.

Artik,

By AH standards, the WBs Historical Arena is empty too.  Do you know why?

Because the only players they have left are those who want that sort of thing.  The majority of players left and either found a place like AH that suited their desired play environment better, or left MMOCFSs all together.

Now I don't think the AH MA is ideal for me.  I'd much rather have an open system like AH, but focused on 1943 rather than the 1944/45 focus in AH.  However, expecting perfection is silly.
