I guess its protocall that when a foriegner is killed in your cournty you allow representatives of her country to observe the proceedings. In this case she was killed by an officer of the state in a prison cell. So I guess the silly canadians are worried that justice will not be done. They want to know if the state itself ordered her killed or was it just the usual "bad apple" that seems to often perpetrate these kinds of things.

Guys, I'm all for bashing a country when they snub the US or directly oppose justice, but bashing for this is just not right.

That woman did not deserve to be beat to death for photojournalism. Canada has every right in my opinion to monitor the farce of a trial that will occur in Iran.

This is all a shame and I sincerely feel for the family of the victim. I hope that Canada will take a tough stance on this issue and do their utmost to punish the injustice of this whole situation.

Like I said, snub us and I will protest loudly, but when it comes down to injustice even a silly redneck like me will stand next to our continental brethren.
