"IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE RELEASE of pressure from the hits in
the tail position. Or maybe one of the shell fragments or a piece of
flak that hit my blister. Anyway, the whole blister blew out and i followed it
right out, head first. One minute I was at my station and the next I was
flying threw space. The first thing I felt was a terrific jerk as my belt
caught me by the shoulders. I managed to jam my left foot in the
edge of the blister hole as i went out. My other foot and head were
hanging down. I bounced against the side of the plane as the wind
hit me. My .45 fell out of it's holster and the wind peeled off my gloves
and tore away my oxygen mask just as if it hadn't been fastened on.
The cold was terrific. For a second there I was sort of dazed, but I
wasn't scared...I can remember struggling against the wind to get back in."

WOW, If this was me, The added weight from the load in my pantz
would of pulled me right outta that plane for sure.
