Finaly Re-Online again !
I had been waiting for this moment for over 3 months... and have to agree that I dreaded that moment a little as well; Seeing a lot of "old hands" go and hearing "all that nikkichognikkiyakiyakiyak...". I thought I was gong to jump in a quake arena. After checking that none of my squadmates are online (<raises fist *lazy yanks!*> ), there I go, on the Runway, pushed by Frenchy's post, I hop into a P47-D30 with 8 Guns, a LOT of fuel... and go on a lone hunt...
I soon run into old friends like Wilbus, Santa, Kirin & many more (pfew, I'm saved!). There it goes, we're all a bit scattered on the map. Duma, Wilbus & I are south of A9 defending it against the imperialistic bishes. 2 Kills, 2 assists... I go home with a "Big grin"<Tm>.
Hearing Kirin's advice and for the sake of "good old times", I hop in a FW190-A8, remembering those Killing passes we used to do with "Tonto" back in JG2
(insert long discussions about fishing & real estate while climbing to 30K in a A8 back in 1.4
). Well, this time, no success... bang, down I go in flames...
No matter what you tell me about this "new FM", I
had to try my old G10. Wilbus & I stayed with our "faithfull ladies" for the next hour, having basicaly
A LOT OF FUN.
I made a point of shooting all the (few) C Hogs I saw, but never saw any Nikki at all. There sure was a Zeon of Spits, but hey...does it ever rain in Scotland ?
I'm happy that I came back.
See you up there <S!>
