Don't cower beneath your afghans!

Prediction for the near future of gun legislation:

There will be a discussion on whether flechette rounds or other types of rounds that do not contain propellent are considered 'bullets'.

I used to think Matrix was a very well though out as scenario.  Then I remembered the small fact that batteries store energy, they don't create it. :)

Have to read the Asimov before I see this movie.

How old are the kids?   I think it is pretty tame compared to most out there with the sexual stuff pretty much hinted at.

england is a good example of gun control... once it is decided that defensive weapons are bad... the door is wide open for any sillyness.   There is a ban on high powered air rifles over there.

slow... if you can't figure out how to sheild robots against emp or water they wouldn't be much good would they?  If your whole society ran on computer chips you had better figure out a good sheild for emp.

I guess if you were building robots tho you wouldn't see the need to make em bulletproof.   Much in the same way that cars are not bulletproof except in rare instances..  So far as I know.... few bulletproof washing machines or refrigerators are made even here in America where unlocked guns roam the streets at night.
