Ya your being dishonest as usual. He said those things in a comedy routine. Your quote makes it sound like he said them as a real opinion or a statement of fact. It was a comedy routine.
Your programers would be proud Rip! WTG!

Michael Moore on America:
Quote
- While promoting his book, “Dude Where’s My Country,” in Germany, Moore gave a speech in which he asserted that, “Americans are possibly the dumbest people on the planet….in thrall to conniving, thieving, smug salamanders. We Americans suffer from an enforced ignorance. We don’t know about anything that’s happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing.” (The Washington Dispatch, June 26, 2004)
Quote
- In October of 2003, Moore was quoted in the University of Michigan’s student newspaper, The Michigan Daily, as saying “there is no terrorist threat in this country. This is a lie. This is the biggest lie we’ve been told.”

Oh! Didn't know he was a comic!  I guess that makes all his movies comedies then?

Didn't seem funny to me, nor the author.  There is no doubt that he feels those things, and tries to translate them into comedy.

Ya, lets make a joke of 3000 people dying in the WTC, yuck yuck, thats funny.

see there you go again

"There is no doubt that he feels those things, and tries to translate them into comedy.

really. There is no way in the world that a skit showing a plane being hijacked by some arabs with box openers and all the yuppies sitting there terrified but two big black thugs looking at eachother like everyone was insane and kicking the arabs tulips could be funny? Absolutily no way that could be done in a way that would make some normal people laugh?

I note that you have nearly attributed to moore that 3000 people being killed is funny. Better watch that someone will post your quote in a sig.

does anyone else not see the irony in this.  Canadians arguing to Americans about an American that hates America and weather or not a racists tasteless joke about a tragic event that happend IN and TO Americans is funny or not.

Lets throw a couple of anthrax and Oklahoma city bombing one liners and end it up with a USS Cole punchline and blame it on....hmmm lets just say bexicans because they allways carry knives and there isnt enough of them!

Har freakin Har

And that's why right-wingers hate him.  He actually has the balls to try and change America for the better.  Where all they can do is sputter and fume in front of thier computers.
