Why do you have Magnum PI on as your Avatar?

One of the best shows ever made BTW.

It needs to come out on DVD NOW!

Magnum  re  magnum

Question, why did I like magnum so much.

Because he had the guts to shoot that son of a bi..... RUSSIAN.

The people in charge wanted him to do the P. C. thing. He overruled  them, in this context I would shoot him.  he he he that took guts in the real world to do that to, you know how hollywood is.

"Did you see the sun come up this morning?"

Best last line I ever heard in a tv series.

2 reasons:

1.) Magnum PI, along with Miami Vice, illustrates everything good, bad, funny and ridiculous about the 80s. I was but a wee child when the 80s ended, but I still recall that decade with fondness, and almost never miss an opportunity to see a rerun of a classic. As a side note, those two shows constituted my first and I believe my most profound exposure to the Ferrari.

2.) Few men in history wore a mustache more naturally and with more conviction than did Tom Selleck in that era.

I agree it is the best show ever, the only one that is close for me was the short lived Firefly.

Magnum had some fantastic shows.

The show were he is talking about being a private I, and how nice it is to have a fast car, but always have to remeber that there are faster cars. And the faster car was a 70 GTO.

The Ivan show were he kills that russian bastage.

The Show were Higgins and Magnum have a practical Joke war.

Man there were so many. Just a fantastic series. I was about 11 or 12 when it was on and would never miss it, it was the one show the parents let me stay up to watch.

It needs to be on DVD.

A little trivia...

Sellek attended USC on a volleyball scholarship. The clip at the beginning of the show is a true dunk on a 10' rim at age 34 or 35.
