I don't know about the others, but I always thought the B17, JU88, Lancaster and B26 were level bombers for attacking strategic targets. I for one am getting awful tired of seeing people use them as dive bombers. If we are going to be as realistic as possible, the bombers (level bombers) should be restricted to dropping no lower than 5000 feet AGL. The B26 did work lower at times but they were restricted because of the payload. I don't mind being bombed by a JU87, P38, or P47 but this dive bombing with B17s is ridiculous.

B-24s and Lancasters sometimes worked lower than 5,000ft AGL too.

A better solution would be to limit their ability to drop bombs while the aircraft is not leveled.

JU-88 Was dive bomber in RL.
It was designed for this also.
