WASHINGTON (AP) - President Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, is the focus of a Justice Department investigation after removing highly classified terrorism documents and handwritten notes from a secure reading room during preparations for the Sept. 11 commission hearings, The Associated Press has learned.

Berger's home and office were searched earlier this year by FBI agents armed with warrants after he voluntarily returned documents to the National Archives. However, still missing are some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Clinton administration's handling of al-Qaida terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration.

I think we all can agree that it wasn't just the Bush administration that was alseep at the wheel as to the potential threat to terrorism in the past ten years.

another huge body blow to the dumbcrats the left media outlets will try to silence ASAP...

Berger, Under Attack, Steps Aside as Kerry Adviser

Herman stated:
"Sandy Berger is my friend, and he has tirelessly served this nation with honor and distinction," Kerry said in a statement. "I respect his decision to step aside as an adviser to the campaign until this matter is resolved objectively and fairly."

hmm ... their definition of "honor and distinction" is much different than mine ...

but lets keep ranting about a stupid fat white guy who hates america and americans and his lying left arse movie ...

It's perfectly reasonable to misplace memos in one's socks.

Sandy did a bad thing. I think the Linda Ronstadt episode will play bigger in middle America though. I think the Reps should stick with that one.

This is a little more than a "bad thing".  The FBI does not raid your house for a "bad thing".  The Justice Department does not investigate you for a "bad thing".  This is criminal, and has all the apperances of a coverup in an attempt to protect the Clinton Administration.
