They call 'em Wisdom teeth because you're stupid to get them pulled.

I wish I had a scan of the exrays.

my bottom ones were impacting with my back molars.  The crowns of my wisdome teeth were pushing all the roots forward on my bottom jaw.  I actually waited TOO long to get them cut out as I was experience alot of pressure in my jaw.

Funny thing is I'm not in all that much pain but I do feel a huge amount of pressure release in my jaw for the first time in a while.  I just wish the swelling would go down.

My top ones had to go because my jaw would not allow a toothbrush back there.  I got a cavity that covered about half the tooth.

Either way I get 72 hours of "sick in quaters"

I think my top ones were the ones impacted, and they decided to all 4 out, for some reason I still kind feel pressure in my jaw, I bet yah the airpressure is dif inside the cavity/hole of where he took them out.. :D

Ain't nothing better than a couple of ice cold beers with two vicodin tablets. Lets just say your wife will be wishing you hadn't had you teeth pulled because you will sleep for about 12-13 hours solid.

I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled in 1997 in a similar fashion Guns. One had been "coming in" for 5 years and had started really pushing on the molars in front of it. The other two had roots so long they were entwined with the nerves that run through you lower and upper jaw.

I never swole up but I lost almost 20 lbs because I couldn't do anything but vomit blood and water for a week I had so much bleeding post surgery. After ten days I finally kept a bowl of chicken broth down. Lucky for me my uncle (my wife and I were living in his house in San Fran) was a nurse and kept me going with IV fluids after they called the doctor and told him what was happening. When I finally stopped bleeding it took the holes they left in my jaw over three weeks to close up and I ended up loosing 35 lbs in three weeks. I looked like a flipping Ethiopian on a hunger strike when I finally got back in the gym again.

Got a cavity in one of mine in '90. Air Force dentist told me they don't fill wisdom teeth and suggested pulling it. The day of the "pull" he said "why don't we just pull all four". Like a handsomehunk I consented. I think he broke my jaw getting one of 'em out. Sore as hell for a long time.

If they offer to put you under.....DO IT.

I hate getting dental work done but this was easy....I went to sleep....woke up in pain.....no memory of all the crap in the middle.

Mine handnt caused any trouble but they had broken the skin and food was getting in under my gums and geting infected. I carried a little syring arround with me on exercise to try and irigate them but  I just couldnt keep them clean.
Everything tasted like crap till I got them out.
Still had them arround here somewhere. Nice looking little teeth except the twisted roots.

Ouch. Man I feel your pain.

Well not really. Actually things are pretty good here today.

But I feel for you.
