Upcoming changes to the Combat Theatre

The idea of any contest/prize is to entice OTHER/NEW players into the Combat Theatre, not existing players.  No vote will be forth coming to the members, besides, I expect a CT member to win it.

Personally I don't think this Ace thing will be that big of a success but then again i have seen stranger things happen.

One of the reasons that the numbers are so low right now is the bugs. (personal opinion)

How about this a sort of popup message in the MA, TA, & DA. It could say something like this "System Come enjoy historical setups in the Combat Theatre" If this is fessible it could popup say every ten minutes or something like that. This maybe a stupid idea but some of the people who play the game don't even come the bbs and so they don't even see Arlo's banners.

I know from playing in the MA once in awhile that there are people in there who have never even heard of the CT.

...well....just as a thought, for example....will there be an award for lowest ace...?

b) Guidelines and Regulations for CT Staff positions
No longer will the CT staff self appoint positions to run the CT.  We are working on the details, perhaps even elections for all spots.  Guidelines and regulations for staff are going to be put into place on how we, as CT admins, govern the arena. This includes mandatory flying hours requirments (you gotta fly in the Ct to be an admin), and regulations on how elections are handled, and how to manage the community.  More to follow.

There you go, Bug.

Wonder if there will be campaigns now....

Who is on the CT staff currently? Are you talking about electing each other for different CT staff positions? Or how you select new CT staff members?

I'm sure TheBug will have some fascinating commentary to add here.
Unfortunately he is away this week serving as a diplomatic liason to France for her majesty the Queen. I expect he will return Friday full of "piss and vinegar". ;)

He may have some commentaries to be sure but they will fascinate no one.  It will be war with france then, good news.  I will enlist in the RCAF in anticipation.

Looks like a "Vote Bug" campaign may become an actuality. Now it just remains to see if it becomes a certainty. :D
