hawk I see what you are trying to say. All you are trying to do is bring up an interesting debate as to wether by terms of definition GWB is commiting genocide.

If you consider AQ a political group then yes it would fit the definition.

I don't consider AQ a political group because they are terrorists. They want nothing more than to get media coverage and kill the infidel.

NOW with that said if AQ is a political group it is one that waged war. In WWII the nazis were a political group and we killed them because we were at war with them.

There's more to just genocide than killing people in one of those categories......you have to have an unjustifiable or evil reason for doing so.

The other difference is if AQ decided it was not in their best interests to persue terrorists we would cease to seak them out and kill them. With the exception of wanted criminals and such.

That is what separates the good from evil in this equation.

I said I took you at your word,I did. I in no way attacked you or your father. I showed you the true difference between genocide,what the word meant in human suffering. I think if you read my post slow you would see that.I was trying to show you words.mean something.

EXAMPLE; If you say bush is a butcher as stalin was,[ as is being said.] than when another stalin comes along what are you going to call him.If you use a very discriped word on everything after a while you can use it on nothing because it has lost it meaning.

He never asked if he was commiting evil. He asked if he was commiting genocide.
The answer is an easy no. Its not the death sentence for any alquida members caught. They go to jail. Get interogated, stay in jail, get let free..etc.
So its not automatic death to be in alguida or an extremist muslim. Its just war baby.

I dont think your problem is understanding the word genocide. Its understanding the word "destroy"

In this context its not"to defeat soundly"
its "to kill"

I belive AQ is a religous group, not political, nor racial, as some are caucasion, black etc.

Reason I posted here, was because my dad couldn't argue his case.

Is there any logic in my theory?

Obviously a cry for answers and opinions, not attacks.

I didn't miss it at all...in my first post I simply warned you what would happen.

In my second post I was trying to assist you in arguing a point from a logical perspective. You still haven't defined who the genocide is being committed upon. Is it musilm extremists in general, terrorists in general, or Al Qeida?
