Flogging the dead horse(again)
« on: October 13, 2000, 02:49:00 PM »
Just me again, wondering when I'll be able to select drop tanks on my Typhoon ordnance list.

Pay me no attention, I'm sure the camoflauge on the 109 was more important.

Hmmmmm. Curious logic ain't it? Give the G10, an aircraft not built until 1944, a desert camo scheme. Uhh, what G10 ever saw service in any desert? By late '43 Afrika Korps was  history, and in early '44 Luftwaffe units painted their aircraft in uniform color schemes.

Drop tanks for a Tiffe, to me anyway, make more sense than giving a G10 that light paint job. Like I said, curious logic

The original art work on the G10 looked like it tried to imitate one of the late war "wierd" german colour schemes.
like this.. http://www.hyperscale.com/features/bf109k4bg_2.htm
the recent bug was just a mix of the original model and the newer one.
