Cool Olympic Story of the Day 8-2
« on: August 02, 2004, 02:51:35 PM »
In 1952 Norway's Skating Union chose Finn Hodt to represent Norway in the Oslo Olympics.

When it was discovered that Hodt not only served time for collaborating with the Nazi's, he went as far as to serve in the German Army on the Eastern Front, the Norwegian Olympic Committee pulled him from the team.

The Norwegian Olympic committee then voted 25-2  to permanently ban collaborators from all future games.
