It started out as just another one of those lame "funny lists" to counter the M-1/F-16 and just took on a life of its own. I kinda thought:"Well, if it's the target tug variant, they likely wouldn't have to perk it." was a bit too obvious, but...

MRPLUTO, the nice thing about the 410 was the modular nose weapons bay. An A-1 could practicly become an A-2 just by swapping the package in the nose. And you forgot about the gunpods and rocket loadouts the 410's can pack.

Would be interesting to get the rotary magazine rocket launcher for the 410 as well, even if it was not used (though tested). The need to sacrifice cannon loadout would be a good balance for it. As well, the design does not seem too 'salvo friendly', so you'll probably be left firing a pair of rockets every pull.

Hey Tails,

There were several other versions of the 410 I didn't mention...some had twin 30mms. I just wrote details on two possible models we might be seeing. You're right, I did forget they could carry rockets, or were they the anti-bomber mortars that can be put on the Fw-190 and Me-110?

If you're talking bout 'Strange Music', I think that was 110's, 190's, and 88's. If your talking about delay-fused free fall bombs, I -think- 410's carried those at some point...410's carried -everything- at some point. It's the MacGuyver of twin-engined fighters

I was thinking of the 210mm (?) air-to-air mortars that I can never hit anything with. The 410 never had "Schrage Musik", as far as I know. (note: "Schrage" has umlauts -two dots- over the "a". It means "slanted music", which is what the Germans call jazz, and the Luftwaffe called upward firing cannon mounted dorsally. "Dorsally" means on the top of the fuselage.)

I suppose HTC will give us quite a few loadouts for the 410 when it's released.

I hope we get the Ki-84...my favorite bomber is the Ki-67, and the Hayate/Frank will make a real nice escort.
