Patch 7 clipboard
« on: July 31, 2004, 08:19:18 AM »
It's nice the silly thing dosen't act like a big tracer anymore, NOW it just takes forever (relativly speaking in a combat situation) to go away.  Worse, if you pop it up and immediatly send it back it gets stubborn and SITS THERE.  You have to stop toggling it for several seconds before it will finally drift to the side.

I realize the clipboard is a very lovely bit of code, but can we have it snap in and out if we so desire?
//c coad  c coad run  run coad run
main (){char _[]={"S~||(iuv{nkx%K9Y$hzhhd\x0c"},__
,___=1;for(__=___>>___;__<((___<<___<<___<<___<<___
)+(___<<___<<___<<___)-___);__+=___)putchar((_[__
])+(__/((___<<___)+___))-((___&

Good point, as nice as it may look zipping up from the dash board (or flying over from the lead plane in a bomber formation (my favorite)) It seems like a lot of fuss.

It was chasing planes (now fixed) and still shows through the fuselage... But the real question is, why doesn't it just disappear when I'm not looking at it?

Seems kinda silly to be drawing the moving map on the clipboard even when its just hanging on the side of the cockpit... I'd rather have that memory and processor instructions applied to the outside world, or my guages....

I think when I close it, I'd rather have it just disappear... and reappear when I open it.  Its one piece of eye-candy that seems rather wasteful...
