I want to give a big to Stream14, lowtec and the rest of the 325th Checkertails for planning this mission tonight.
Also to the following squads

490th
Sick Puppies
880th
Jg54
VF-17
VF-27
VMF-312
and all others who participated.

Allied tried to bomb Vbases 100 and 101 to simulate the bombings of strat targets to start off the invasion Normandy. The mission was a failure. Maybe six B17s made it to an emergency field. Many losses on both sides. VMF-312 lost all but one fighter and two pilots. This was a fun setup.

For those that gave it a try, what did you think about it?

Was a good one, Hawk. Got alot of positive feedback. Several are interested in making this a regularly scheduled CT thing.

Was probably one of the most fun nights I have had in AH2 to date! Lots of good people in there. Less of the childish stuff in the MA. With the extra players brought in by the scheduled event it was a blast. Lots of 1v1 1v2 and such. No 10 LaLas zooming up my 6, was a very fun evenly matched night. to all who set this up, may there be many more nights like this to follow!

Was fun hawk and brought a bunch of people to the CT. We should do this regularly. Not sure of JG54 losses, I know I had to ditch after tangling with HiJacker. Well done all<>

Thats a bunch of crap Rolex. Im sorry some one told you that. Tonight was fun.Tuesday and Thursday night have the most activity for the CT so watch the boards for mission postings and such. I hope you give it another try soon. It seems like alot of people have had a bad experience in the CT from time to time and havent bothered or wanted to come back. We are trying to change that.

I was just too tired when I was looking in the CT-Forum and didn't have the patience to read all the posts to find the details.

Just a suggestion (only trying to help...) but can a stickie be posted in the forum for these kinds of things?

Anyway, I plan on spending some time in the CT soon.

That was alot of fun! It has the feel of an event, but quicker. Ya we B17s got murdered but our escort did well until overwhelmed. I got 2 kills, saw Slash nail a 262..and cheered loudly...almost woke up the wife.

We may have gotten waxed, but we took a few with us, and most importantly, we looked good doing it!

We jettisoned over the Channel and beat it towards 39 to land. Out of I think (wingman b17s included) we had about 20 or so B17s. I think it was just me and Slash that got down. Anyone know how many enemy fighters the B17s brought down?

I'll definately do this again! Wtg Slash on leading the flight!
