I pray for his safe return. I wish there was something I could do.

Is there someone the child knows (ex wife girlfriend etc) and trusts that he may have gone off with?

Has he ever been camping with anyone? Is anything missing from his room? Does he have a treasured object that he keeps (blanket etc)? If so is it there?

Does he have any money in his room? Is it there still? Has he every travelled alone before? Does he know how to ride the bus? Is his bike at home?

You need to think of people he trusts. Neighbors, friends, older friends, scout leaders, house keeper etc. Is there anyone that he may have seen recently?

Blammo my thoughts are with you and your family tonight.  I hope that soon he will be in your arms again.  Take care.

How trivial everything else on this board seems now...all the petty arguments we all have.  The politics, the cars, the planes...everything here is trivial compared to the life of this child.

Have you checked all small hiding places in the house? Is there a chest or simmilar item he could have climbed into? I know this is a very long shot but I have a 3 year old and he loves to hide in small places.

Is there a favorite place he loves to go to all the time? Check there.

If there is a forest around, check the forest if he loves to go back there, or you've taken him back there before.

My family is praying for you!

Perhaps this will open our eyes onto more important issues like family..
