Tank/Gv Issues
« on: July 31, 2004, 04:09:17 PM »
The problem is the constant input from the controller/Joystick when going up hill.
The constant counter action with the stick input to keep a tank going straight when paralleling a slope, = Hardware stress.
The constant forward input from the Stick going straight up a hill. =Hardware stress
And worst of all…the constant input needed from the Stick while in First Gear and in Reverse.
ALL these conditions cause too much wear and tear on our Hardware. (Joystick).
Can’t this be fixed?
In AH1 it was at least possible to go stick free on flat ground in First Gear and in Reverse.

actually GVs are getting more attention from me lately. They are an improvement from AH1 that’s for sure. At least the environment that they are used in is which is making the GV experience much more interesting than before for me. :)
I fly plenty. But you are right. Tanks should be driven with the Keyboard. But the game wont let us. While flying...the Stick get more neutral time. But in Gvs with the new terrain...the Stick gets too much wear and tear.
