Hey Mars! Missed you over the weekend. I think you have an out of state legover arrangement.
?????

Yeah it's rare when I get time on the Weekends.  Sunday and Wednessday are the nights I try to make available every week.  Anything else is gravey lol.

There was just a massive whine thread about the big maps.. started Aug 5.

I think it is more likely that the "current rash of gameplay whines" is a product of the fact that the gameplay really hasn't changed in a good three years, not a product of playing small maps for a month.

Was a large map up then? I just checked the MA (and had to download P7 - lol) and Baltic was up.

Oh well, guess I'll be having another week off then.

Mindano was up for most of the weekend ... from the little time that I logged in.

These small maps are really getting to me. I see a small map up and I almost have to force myself to play. Doesn't take too long for me to fly around for awhile and then log in disgust.

My flying hours and enthusiasm have subsided greatly. I am not giving up ... just waiting for when the other large maps are converted and get rotated in.

Small maps just don't cut it for me anymore. It has nothing to do with base spacing and all the other crap that we whine about. It's the saturation effect that the population has on the small maps.

It's probably just me ... in RL I avoid at all costs any event that has enormous amounts of people clamoring in a small space looking for enjoyment ... never been to Disney World based on that logic.

I agree.  You fly and fight in the AIR.   What difference does it make what map is under you?  Do you use different ACM on Big Isles map than you do on Mindanao?  I can just see some pilots during WWII:   "General Sir - you know I hate flying over the Pacific Islands (map), could you please transfer me to Italy? I like the scenery there better..."

When I log on and see.....

...a big map, I can barely keep from logging off.

...a small map, AH2 is more important than sleep or food.
