Enemy collisions can only be set ON or OFF - there is no setting for bombers or fighters only.  :)

I think everyone reporting collisions, simply got shot at extreme close range.  Maybe it's not even visable on their FE. Untill I see a video of a collision I'm going to believe they are on for all a-a. Not for a-g however! I've been ramming tanks in my IL2 and the scrape noise is followed by either no damage, damage to my tailgunner (!?), or loss of a wing or somesuch. That thing is tough!

When I host rooms in H2H, I always turn on enemy collisions. But for some reason when i come up against a bomber, I just go right threw it. I also go threw fighters too. Haven't had a single collison in this game yet. Be happy to collide with someone. And i turn up the enemy collision all the way up.

When they doo get it back on,,,

Expect to hear alot of whinning about people ramming,,
Every one is going to be used to having it off or not obvious,

And those LA7's they should put a huge spiked ram on the front of those. .  only makes sence,,, its their primary weapon.   :D

Bomber Collisions seem fixed... WITH A VENGEANCE...

Hey HTC.

First the Compliments:
Thanks for the corrections. I will admit that it's going to take the fun of joining a formation, and climbing inside before shooting!

Now the nitpick:
I noticed that Bomber collisions have been fixd. Any chance we could have the bubble around the bombers reduced to the craft surfaces or something resembling it?

I used to Make a slashing attach and dive over or under, now it  Seems that the bubble is like 100 or 200 around the bomber. Woiuld this be Lag? I Tried a head on pass the other night, and got schooled, even though I though I was quite far from the bombers.

Is there anything technical you were going for in making the bubble bigger around bombers ? Or is this an illusion brought by Lag of Flight paths? The same holds for Bombres that have been destroyed, and falling, while I am climbing.

Current collision model reminds me WarBirds  You can fly in 100 meters aside from enemy and ram him anyway. AH1 has better model i think. Hope it will improved soon.

Still better than no collisions at all

Not trying to be excessively nasty or anything, but you need to fix it again, and you need to turn it off until it is fixed. Anytime you get close enough to get a good shot, when you kill your enemy his debris almost certainly kills you instantly, and gives HIM credit for killing YOU, and you no credit at all for killing him.

In all honesty, I suppose that had the previous condition been left alone for long enough, there would have been those who would get gamey and figure out how to exploit it. But as it stands now the current cure is FAR worse than the disease was.
