I used to have one that looked a lot like that.  Called it the Flamethrower.  It used black powder cartriges and every time you fired it a two foot tongue of flame followed the bullet out of the barrel...

Enfield MkI for Armoured Corps (Tank Crews requested the c o c k ing lever to be removed as it stuck to clothing when inside a tank.)

It is, HAC No. 2 MK I.

 To be fair it is the Austrailian production varient of the British Enfield  No. 2 MK I. If you look closely at the picture you can see HAC stamped on the gun.
