Here's a thought for HTC concerning the TA:

Would it be at all possible to make an option available in the training arena to load bullets that, when fired, still flash and ping when they hit but do no damage?

I ask because it would make practicing high altitude snapshots a lot easier instead of having to wait for the target to lift again every time you hit.

While waiting for HTC to alter the TA settings  ;), you can try this in H2H: there's a host command "playergunlethality" in the arena settings. Put it to 0 and your guns wont have any effect.

Oh, I thought this was about moving the rubber bullets outa the MA...nevermind, move along..

That would be cool but what would be even more cooler is DamageControl. You could control your planes damage, lets say you want to teach some one to land with one wing or one gear.  This feature would be realy neat and fun to play with don't you think?  :)

Salute Gents,

     Now THIS is an idea that will take care of vulchers in the TA poste haste!  I LIKE this idea!!!!  Gonna run it by the other guys (trainers) and see what they think.  It beats the HELL outta vulching the vulchers, which is about all we can do about it at present.

I proposed something similar to Leph and HTC a while back and it was shot down. Leph loved it, apparently HTC either didn't read the message or didn't reply. I figured that giving trainers control over the arena settings in the TA would do some good. This way you could turn the lethality off, change which aircraft could fly from a given field, anything that was needed. A trainer could simply reconfigure the TA's settings on the fly.

Unfortunately nothing came of the suggestion, maybe this time around will be different.
