Frame 3
Foothold & Toenails results:

Remember all targets are worth 200 points. If a target is only 30% destroyed then the enemy keeps the other 70% of the 200 points. Cruisers were worth 300 points each. No surprise here they were the deciding factor in frame 3.

USN shot down 76 planes for 1150 points (a far cry from the 22 ac in frame 2)
IJN lost two due to friendly fire included above
USN had three targets to attack, V38, V39, and A37
A37 – 30% destroyed for 60 points (+130 Axis)
V38 – 100% destroyed for 200 points (+0 Axis)
V39 – 100% destroyed for 200 points (+ 0 Axis)
Targets of opportunity Cruisers in task groups, 2 CA’s sunk 600 points
+90 points from A5 below.
Total 2290

IJN shot down 48 planes for 490 points. (almost exactly the same as frame 2)
IJN had three targets to attack V4, V6, and A5
A5 – 60% destroyed for 120 points (+80 Allied)
V4 – 100% destroyed for 200 points (+0 Allied)
V6 – 100% destroyed for 200 points (+0 Allied)
Targets of opportunity Cruisers in task groups, 1 CA sunk 300 points
+130 from A37
Total 1440

A commanding Allied victory. They sunk an extra CA and shot down 28 more aircraft then the Axis. Frame 3 goes to the USN. :)

...and the BIG difference was in frame 2 the IJN led with high Ki-61s.  In frame 3 they led with low B5Ns.

There MUSt be a lesson there somewhere...  :D

Dtango that is fine.

When we start the next Squad Ops all squads will go to this page
http://events.hitechcreations.com/squadops/index.php
and click on the "Request side for current Squad Ops" link. In that link will be a place to put down your squad numbers. But don't do that till the next Squad Ops is up and posted with the Admin CM requesting Squads do so. :)
