Ping plotter trace
« on: August 07, 2004, 10:42:15 AM »
I ran a ping plotter trace and the highest ping comes from 208.172.163.134...there is no name entered for this address but it shows as the last hop before hitting HT server @ 216.91.187.39 which also does not have any name.
Skuzzy do you happen to reconize this IP?

I can trace to your IP address from the server.  Are you still having issues?

That IP you are looking at is the IP of the router at Savvis HQ.

Not really Skuzzy (ty for the reply) The major DSL pipe I'm on went down friday and was repaired sat morning. (went down again for about 4 hours today)so I thought I would see what that did to a hop I had issues with before. (the flakey card in the redback must of smoked)It now seem's to be in line with the other hops on ping rates.
But I now noticed the next to the last hop was higher than normal now.
When I first got on AHII when I logged in it showed the ping rates on the arena menu as a 64-65.....a month ago or so it changed to 94-95 with one of the patches (I think it was six) which effected the performance I was able to run. I went in and turned the sliders all the way to the right and that seemed to help. I was just courious if you had any reports on that last hop.
Thanx ------>Koda
