Any Experiences with Saiga 12 Ga. Shotguns?
« on: August 10, 2004, 12:44:34 PM »
Hey Guys!

I was wondering if any of you have had, "hands on" experience with the Saiga 12 ga. Shotugn?

For those of you unfamiliar with it, its a semi-auto clip fed 12 ga shotgun, based upon the AK-47 action, and is fairly cheap over the internet, approx $200 (transfer fee's not included).

I've looked and looked, and I've not been able to find one of these guns in an actual store, to see how they feel or how well they are made.

I've considered ordering one for myself for my birthday, but I hate the thought of ordering a firearm, sight unseen.  Let alone fired.

Anyone own or have fired one of these puppies?!?!

I don't know about that particular gun, but I've heard that Saiga's are great value for money. My father in law has a .308 and it's a great gun.

Fired the Saiga chambered in 7.62x39. It was a flawless rifle. I have not been able to fire one of the 12ga yet. I would like to see it with an interchangable choke. These are fixed choke guns. Would be cool to take a 12ga saiga bird hunting, just for the cool factor of how they look
