Check out this PDF on flight dynamics.
http://www.aa.washington.edu/courses/aa441/Aircraft_Performance_Flight_Testing.pdf

I cannot imagine ALL these calculations go on in game. I assume HTC has shortcutted a lot of this gobbly-gook to make the game usable for the majority of computers.

I'm not a slouch at math, but This is a LOT of math.
I thought I was important until I got Cancer and had to go to a cancer clinic.

I'm not positive, but i believe AH is not a physics based FM, but a lookup table in a database.

mostly HTC has not truly stated how it works, i can only gather from what has been posted in threads like this:
http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68657&highlight=lookup+table

sry i had to do a complete reformat of my HD this weekend and dont have adobe in yet, can't read the link you posted... just my quick comments on the subject.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Nicely written and compilied I must say.
I found only slight descrepancies in some of the volume models, but they we're well within spec of said A/C.
Some calculations of the multiplayer on the -negtive pressure values pertaining to speed and or vibration on low level flight were broken down into only three catagories. However five catagories would have provided much needed information in leu of such said findings.

That is all
