Not very good compared to Soundstorm ker. I ended up putting in an Audigy 2 ZS into the system. The performance wasn't bad for an onboard solution, but I found the sound quality to be too muddy in the midrange for my liking. For an onboard solution it's not that bad, but it doesn't compare well to Soundstorm or the Audigy 2.
