Viper 550 vs "latest" drivers ...
« on: March 16, 2000, 03:22:00 PM »
Help, anyone,

I have a Viper 550 graphics card installed in my computer and I recently downloaded the most recent (DX7.0-compatible) drivers for it from the DiamondMM website.  When I brought up properties, I was surprised to find a myriad of options that can be set.  Is anyone else using this latest driver for their Viper and if so can anyone explain what are the "optimal" settings for AH?

I'm afraid to muck with it too much because I don't know anti-aliasing from my bellybutton or a hole in the ground.

Thanks!

buhdman, out

I run a 550 on a pII 450...

I have antialiasing enabled, running 75 Hz for refresh rate. 15" monitor. (don't recall using the optimal setting but it should be fine there too.)

never have had a video problem.
