Changes to be made to the existing setup
« on: August 13, 2004, 06:18:52 PM »
Over this weekend I will be implementing the following changes.

  • F4U-1D added
  • removing P-40
  • full friendly radar
  • full enemy radar
  • manable AAA guns on ships

The last one will be watched and monitored by me and several of the staff to hopefully keep ships from getting "beached" to act as floating AAA batteries off enemy bases. If we think it becomes a problem then the manned guns will get turned off again.

The radar settings are a test that we want to see how it works. With the limited player numbers in the CT we would like to see how having full radar effects fights.

Sorry I didn't get these changes done last night but after I posted I spent the next several hours puking my guts up with this summer flu bug I have. Sorry Hawk I forgot to put that in there as I am still not feeling quite right.

Enjoy the history of Corsairs v. La7s.

In the meantime, probably would be a good idea to advertise these settings so that the MA folks who complain about limited radar know that there's been a change.

I noticed last week the CT had Dot dar and the ct NORM radar

That was enuff to make me happy, while I dont care if dar is full
keep a good balance on making CT folks happy while continuing to attract MA folks.....

As of Sunday 1:17 pm eastern

Hmmm so whats going on with the settings? So far this is what I see.

F4U-1D added---was added

removing P-40---was removed

full friendly radar---not added

full enemy radar---not added

manable AAA guns on ships---not enabled

added notes

CV is 10k damage. Rebuild time for each k of damage? I hit it several times with 2 x 1k bombs and with rockets. No object credits but assume it added to k damage!!??

F4F was removed.
