Maxing out your views?

I havn't seen this since I started, and I presume it's been asked before, but anyway...

How many of you have reset your head positons to be as far back as possible? In particular the 6 view and the angled views.

I think I increased the amount I can see behind me by about 20 percent. Or am I losing some sight (I havn't changed my side views because of that, you lose some area at the bottem)?

Also another question, do you all use SNAP PAN or INSTANT?
I have it set to Snap. Instant just confuses me and Pan is too slow  . Just woundering if anyone else uses them?

I've reset all my rear and quarter views in every aircraft.

It's amazing just how much more you can see around you if you are prepared to spend a little time refining your views.

I've even got pretty good rear quarter views in the B17 now

Yep .. even my old clunker of a C-47 has magnificent views.
Mind you, I fly with a gorgeous brunette in the co-pilots seat, so I spend HEAPS of time leaning out of the right side of the cockpit
