Im using paint shop pro 8 and im making some skins like the submission below but i was wondering if there are any tips to getting the fine tuning on all of the skins

Multiple layers are the key to doing skins.
For PSP do a search for "Eye candy", allows you to do weathring with a few mouse clicks.

i dont like psp8.  psp7 is better.

BTW do a search for bright it tell you it is a miracle program.

Photoshop 6 is practically the same as any other version. I still have a copy of 5 that I use frequently.

Actually 6 is different. 6 is more like 7 and 8. I know because my college labs have 6.0 and I have 5.0. There are more options in 6 that 5 does not have, and probably more so in 7 and 8.

But if I can get along just fine in 5.0, I think anybody can get along in 6.0

That's true, Krusty. What I mean is that for the purposes of skinning, and for the sake of having something better than MSPaint, any version of PhotoShop is great to have.
