Changes being made today to the setup

The Allies almost always have the high ground and the N1K2 can no longer do the rapid 180 and spray and pray at 800 yards to get kills.

AH2 is a whole new game in regards to the N1K2 vs F4U.  Speed means a lot more than it did in AH1.

Don't get me wrong, the N1K2 will kill a lot more F4U's than the Ki-61 or A6M5 did, but the F4U will kill a lot of N1K2s as well.

The F6F and the N1k is one of the most balanced matchups in the game.

The N1k does not "dominate" the f6f in any way.

I think the 20mm vs .50 cal can be questioned :)

Could be questioned I suppose, but the difference in firepower and vs durability of the two aircraft tends to even things out a bit in my mind... to me a N1k hits a little harder, but the F6F can take a little more punishment.  Not to mention the ROF and muzzle velocity/trajectory of the .50 cal is better than the 20mm.

All in all I think the planes are so close that it's going to come down to the pilot and who out flew who during a given engagement.   Regardless of starting positions.

Soulyss is right, the F6F is a pretty dead even match for the Niki, but personally if I had to choose between the two I'd take the F6F because the guns are easier to hit with.
